Designed by a team of middle school students (Operation NETWORK - FPS-CmPS), ON-It provides an easy way for students to manage homework assignments, school events, and other items. The app allows students to create an item and save a due date.
Items are displayed in a Planner view, which segments assignments based on due dates. For entries that are coded as "Test", three days of study time are also created. Click on an item to mark it complete and change the unfilled mark to green. Past Due items are filled with Red until they are marked complete by the student.
From the springboard or home screen of the phone, a notification badge lists the number of items which are Past Due and incomplete for the current days work. Also, at 3pm the day before the due date, an alert notification will be displayed as a reminder of the item due.
The current release has been written for students attending GCISD school system. The app integrates with web accessible calendar feeds to show campus events, and also set them on the students Planner view. Campus events are listed with a blue-filled marker. By selecting a Campus, the students app pages will be customized with logos for their respective Campus.
To work with any item, simply tap the item marker.
